Come and experience the radiance and unearthly beauty of music spanning nine centuries in this closing concert of the 2017-18 Cathedral Sacred Arts Series. In "Radiant as the Sun," Transept is joined by period instruments for the glorious late Renaissance/early Baroque music of Claudio Monteverdi, Heinrich Schütz, and Henry Purcell. Works from many other genres are also interwoven in an exploration of radiance and profound inner joy.

Guest artists include instrumentalists Bruce Jacobs on positiv organ, Josh Schwalbach on viola da gamba, and Elizabeth York and Yi Chun Lin on baroque violin. Vocalists include an ensemble of twenty singers including soloists Bethany Battafarano, Natalie Campbell, Krista Costin, Clara Osowski, Andrew Kane, Brody Krogman, and Joseph Hubbard.
